Science and Ecology
There's not a better place to become scientifically literate than in the great outdoors. With easy access to a national forest and an adjoining working homestead, the opportunities to develop confidence in science, critical thinking, permaculture, and life skills are endless.
From seed saving to exciting nature-based projects and a multi-sensory approach to learning about the Kingdoms of Living Things, there's no better way to learn about natural science!
Enrichment (Nature Inspired)
From nature journaling inspired by our daily creative forest walks to fun interactive educational activities, Wonder Forest Schoolhouse has your homeschool enrichment covered up to four days a week.
Let's not forget how inspiring it is to simply have the opportunity to read (or be read to) an amazing book under a magnificent oak tree.
Art & Spanish
In addition to forest school activities, we offer an exclusive comprehensive outdoor fine arts course on Thursdays taught by an experienced artist.
Thursdays are also Spanish immersion days with a designated Spanish class as well as dual language infused learning throughout the day. A dual language has been proven to be a beneficial skill in every area of a child's life.
Whether your child is beginning their Spanish journey or simply needs more practice, our forest school makes it easy to learn.
